What happened? We smoked the seventh of the systems keeping our home inhabitable. Ocean acidification, if you’re asking.
Why does it matter? Don’t worry about it, no-one else seems to care.

What happened? Massive, unprecedented floods in Ibiza.
Why does it matter? Funny tourist socials. Nothing on the news.
Guess what? Renewables do mean cheap power in sunny places ☀️🇪🇸🇺🇸
What happened? Spain’s 2025 prices 32% lower than EU. Texas demand up, all new power from renewables, prices low as ever.
Why does it matter? Rewiring the world = investment. Result is cheap, abundant power.

One thing to worry about
Panama depends on an annual “upwelling”: winds force deep nutrient-rich water up, sustaining fisheries & keeping the coast cool.
